Conversion Tracking & GA4 Health Checker

If your tracking is wrong, every other number is a guess. Scan your site for Google tags, then check the things that quietly break measurement, double-counting, missing values, no Enhanced Conversions, and more.

The short version: most accounts that look like they are underperforming are actually mis-measured. This checker scans your page for Google Ads and GA4 tags, then walks you through the common tracking failures, double-counted conversions, missing values, no Enhanced Conversions or Consent Mode, tracking every click instead of real actions, so you can trust your numbers before you optimize to them.

Scan your tags, then check accuracy

Enter your site to detect Google tags live, then answer the accuracy checks a scan cannot see. Together they give a tracking health score.

What you get

Confidence that your numbers are real, before you make a single decision based on them. The checker scans your page to confirm which Google tags are actually installed, GA4, Tag Manager, a Google Ads conversion tag, and Consent Mode, then walks you through the accuracy problems a scan cannot see: conversions counted twice, values missing, Enhanced Conversions off, offline sales never fed back, or every trivial action logged as a conversion. You get a tracking health score and a fix list, so you can trust your data or fix it.

How it works

  1. Enter your site or landing page URL to scan for Google tags.
  2. Answer the short accuracy checklist a scan cannot see.
  3. See your tracking health score and what is missing or broken.
  4. Open the fix list and make your measurement trustworthy.

Why this comes before everything else

Every modern Google Ads account runs on its conversion data. Smart Bidding uses it to decide who to show ads to and how much to pay; your reports use it to tell you what is working; you use it to decide where budget goes. So if that data is wrong, and it is wrong far more often than anyone expects, the whole machine optimizes confidently toward the wrong thing. An account counting conversions twice will happily overspend; one that only tracks form-fills, not the sales behind them, will chase cheap junk leads; one without values cannot tell a $50 order from a $5,000 one. The uncomfortable truth is that a lot of "underperforming" accounts are not badly optimized, they are badly measured. That is why this is the first thing worth checking, and why fixing it often lifts everything else without touching a single bid.

Frequently asked questions

Why does tracking matter so much?
Smart Bidding and every decision run on your conversion data. If it is wrong, the algorithm optimizes toward the wrong outcomes and no report can be trusted. Fixing tracking is often the highest-impact thing an account can do.
What does the live scan detect?
The presence of GA4 (a G- ID), Tag Manager, a Google Ads conversion tag (AW-), and Consent Mode. It confirms what is installed; the checklist covers accuracy a scan cannot see.
What is double-counting?
Recording the same conversion more than once, e.g. via both a GA4 import and a native tag, inflating numbers and misleading bidding. De-duplication is a common fix here.
What are Enhanced Conversions?
A feature that sends hashed first-party data to recover conversions lost to privacy changes, improving measurement and bidding. One of the highest-value upgrades available today.
Should I track every action?
No. Only meaningful actions should be primary conversions. Counting every click or pageview teaches bidding to chase low-value actions. The checker flags this.
Is it free?
Yes, free with no login. The live scan needs our backend deployed; the checklist works anywhere. Share your details once to open the fix list.
